Similar to the successful and innovative Concordia Estate Resort, St. John U.S.V.I., our plan for the Eco-Resort on Compass Cay consists of 23 tent cabins clustered along 2 miles of narrow winding golf cart roads. The bridge crossing from the established marina side of the cay to the west side serves as a kayak center for exploring the mangrove and tidal marshes that extend north in the center of the cay. Primary power would be generated from solar and wind power and stored in batteries at each individual cabin. Solar hot water heater would provide all the domestic hot water needs of each cabin.
