Our work with NOLS Alaska began in 1990 with the development of a comprehensive master plan that laid the foundation for 6 years of site and facilities development in support of the Palmer campus.

As a result of the success in Alaska, we embarked on a multi-year master planning process for NOLS Headquarters located in Lander, Wyoming. Here we studied all properties owned or leased by NOLS HQ and worked with an employee team to record and document the growth of NOLS HQ operational and facility needs. From this we built a forecast of future operational needs and translated this into facility needs for the next 20 years.

We then surveyed and analyzed various properties and evaluated each against the program requirements. From this extensive study, NOLS HQ was able to grow to a more mature organization while integrating the core founding values.
