The owners of property in the Stowe South Village requested a schematic master plan and building design that would house 2-4 commercial retail or business spaces and 4 high-end residential units. The proposed building site is on the Little River which is part of the Winooski watershed basin.

Designed to complement 3 existing multi-level buildings serving the Route 100 corridor, the mill building architectural style  was chosen for the straight forward aspects of massing, detail and construction cost management.
