John and Doren Dolan commissioned us to design a traditional style home based on Vermont's Greek Revival heritage. A full time residence, the building composition consists of an "original" main house with several "additions" and an attached "barn," now serving as a garage.

The house is oriented towards Mt. Mansfield as the owners are avid alpine skiers. Their family lifestyle is gracious and welcoming. In addition to their request that the family's bedrooms would all be on the upper level, they asked for ample guest and bunkroom capability at the lower, walk-out level. A large country style kitchen is adjacent to the great room and "Michigan room" screen porch for easy entertaining and family visiting.
